Dan Majerle Reportedly Getting Interest From Sixers

Dan Majerle, the former Suns legend and current Suns assistant coach, is the latest candidate on a long list of names to be contacted by the Philadelphia 76ers to fill their head-coaching vacancy. Majerle has been a Suns assistant the past two seasons.

According to Marc Stein, the Sixers are sending a delegation to Phoenix to meet with Majerle after Game 4 of the Suns series against the Spurs. The team has already been in contact with Avery Johnson and Doug Collins. The Sixers will also talk to Portland's Monty Williams before they meet with Majerle. Majerle will be the fourth candidate to have a formal interview with Philadelphia.
