Amid swirling trade rumors, Ravens OT Jared Gaither was once again absent from minicamp.
Jared Gaither Absent From Day Three Of Ravens Minicamp
It’s been a tumultuous three-day minicamp for Gaither so far. On Friday, it was announced Michael Oher would be playing left tackel and he’d be moving to the right. He didn’t participate in day two instead reportedly receiving treatment for an unspecified injury. Multiple media members have said Gaither did not suffer an injury on day one so that makes his absence on day two even more curious.
And now, day three, Gaither is once again absent from the field.
Trade rumors have surrounded him dating back to pre-draft. The latest reports indicate the Bills are the No. 1 team in the running.
The reason his absence is making some signal a trade is because the Ravens don’t want him on the field potentially getting hurt (leaving them financially responsible) before he’s shipped out of town.
