Cavaliers Blog: Cleveland Should Probably Figure Out A Way To Slow Down Rondo
As you may imagine, our Cavaliers blog, Fear The Sword, wasn’t exactly pleased with the result of Sunday’s Game 4 against the Celtics. But more importantly, they are becoming more and more concerned with the play of Rajon Rondo, and remind that if Cleveland can’t figure out a way to at least slow him down, there might not be any Eastern Conference finals for the Cavs.

The Celtics beat the Cavaliers in Game 4 Sunday afternoon, and while we could analyze and break down the contest, quarter by quarter, it’s much easier to sum it all up with just two words: Rajon Rondo.

That bucket proved to be the last successful field goal attempt for Cleveland. A series of misses preceded Varejao’s 1-for-2 effort at the free throw line for an 88-85 game with 2:43 remaining.
Rondo then dished to a streaking Pierce on the baseline for a slam, and, following a Williams turnover, put back a Garnett miss for a 92-85 lead with 1:34 to go.
