Gerrard Tries To Push 2009-10, Hull Fan Into The Past

It’s been a tough year for Steven Gerrard, one that could get even tougher, though after today’s anticlimactic 0-0 draw with relegation-bound Hull City, Gerrard may be intent on searching for happy thoughts.

↵Apparently a Hull supporter tried to divert that search after today’s match at Kingston Communications Stadium - or, more readily, a number of supporters, who had made their way onto the pitch after Sunday’s draw, tried to distract the Liverpool midfielder.

↵Who knows what set-off Stevie G, but at one point in the video below, he turns around intent to make his displeasure known, with one fan at the end of some disappointingly poor public relations:

↵

↵Ultimately, it’s difficult to sympathize with a pitch invader (even a passive one), and we don’t know what wound-up Gerrard. However, this does not seem the best way to win friends and influence people.
