It’s been three weeks since reports surfaced connecting Redskins receiver Santana Moss to HGH and Dr. Anthony Galea. If the league were investigating the situation, you would think Moss’s coach would know, right?
Redskins Coach Mike Shanahan Has Yet To Hear From The League On Santana Moss, HGH Case
Apparently not. Speaking to Chris Russell of 106.7 The Fan in DC, Mike Shanahan said:
"No, no. I have not been contacted by the league at all."
Of course this doesn’t mean the league is or is not investigating but it is interesting to note that three weeks after the initial reports surfaced, the head coach of the player reportedly implicated has yet to hear anything from the NFL.
At this point, it’s far from a done deal that Moss -- who has admitted to being treated by Galea but not receiving HGH -- will be suspended to start the season.
