Bob Bradley Confirms Jozy Altidore To Start Versus England
Altidore suffered an ankle injury in training last week and missed the United States’ Saturday friendly against Australia. The 20-year-old striker returned to full training earlier this week.
Per Bradley’s comments to Patrick on his radio show, Jozy Altidore is now fit to play Saturday against England. Had he been unable to go, Los Angeles Galaxy striker Edson Buddle was scheduled to start.
Now, the Villareal forward is set to make his 26th appearance for the United States, his first in a World Cup.
