Padres And Jays Shake The Earth With Their Might

To be fair, it might have actually been the earthquake that measured 5.9 on the Richter scale and tore through Southern California and not John Buck’s bat speed that caused Petco Park to shake Monday night.

↵↵The San Diego Padres-Blue Jays game stopped for about 45 seconds in the eighth inning when an earthquake rocked Petco Park. The crowd of 16,542 cheered when they realized what it was.

↵↵It was one of the few times they cheered all evening. The Padres lost 6-3.
