R.A. Dickey Stays Strong As Mets Brush Aside Indians For Seventh Straight Win
Dickey’s (5-0) knuckleball danced out of trouble time and time again, as the right-hander surrendered three runs -- two earned -- on seven hits with seven strikeouts and a pair of walks over six innings.
Cleveland drew within one run on Hafner’s RBI groundout in the seventh, but the Mets extended their edge quickly in the eighth on Reyes’ RBI triple that scored Tejada.
