Utah State’s Wild Bill In “Critically Stable Condition”

College basketball has its share of unique student sections, but an underappreciated bunch is the one at Utah State, led by Bill Sproat, aka Wild Bill, known for his fleshy antics. (You can view some of his “best” work here on YouTube.)↵↵Sadly, Wild Bill has not been in the best condition lately and has been in the hospital since June 11. More from his blog:↵
↵↵⇥After pneumonia like symptoms Friday June 11 Bill Sproat went to Logan Regional Hospital where in the Emergency Room it was determined that he was in need of critical care for his heart. Life flight flew Bill to a Salt Lake City hospital where he is currently being cared for.↵⇥↵⇥It has since been determined that bill has a diagnosis of idiopathic cardiomyopathy which essentially means that his heart is enlarged. The cause of his enlarged heart is unknown at this time and further testing will be performed. The current theory is that it was caused by a virus.↵⇥
↵↵↵Here’s hoping Wild Bill can bounce back for next season. We here at TSB wish him a speedy recovery. You can leave him a message on his Facebook page. It sounds like he has a long road ahead of him, so I’m sure any well wishes will be appreciated.↵
