Fantasy Baseball: Troy Tulowitzki Out For 6-8 Weeks With Broken Wrist

The Rockies got the worst news of all this afternoon as they had to put All Star SS Troy Tulowitzki on the DL with a broken wrist that will sideline him for the next 6-8 weeks. Tulo was hit by a pitch in Thursday's game vs the Twins.

The Rockies will move second baseman Clint Barmes to SS and have called up AAA second basemanChris Nelson to play second with Melvin Mora and Johnny Herrera. Nelson was hitting .311-.384-.508 with AAA Colorado Springs with 5 HRs and 20 RBIs. He has a 23/14 K/BB ratio in 132 at bats.

Check out the reaction of Rockies fans over at SB Nation's Rockies site Purple Row.
