The Nationwide Series will be heading to Loudon, New Hampshire for the New England 200 (which could mean that this race doesn’t have a sponsor) and they won’t be alone: joining the Nationwide guys this week is the onslaunt of Cup drivers and one IRL driver. Kyle Busch, Joey Logano, Brad Keselowski, Kevin Harvick, Reed Sorenson (not a cup regular but has signed on to drive the 83 for 3 races), Mike Bliss, Carl Edwards, Michael McDowell, Paul Menard, Elliott Sadler and Joe Nemechek return to the Nationwide Series this week.
Cup Invasion: The New England 200 Nationwide Preview

Danica Patrick also returns to another track that doesn’t suit rookies. Why? Who knows. She should be racing the new Nationwide car at Daytona next week, since that’s what they will be running all next season.
It should be a very interesting race, and we should see a very big ratings jump this week with Patrick in the event.

You may notice that Austin Dillon is in the #21 car this week. It’s not Dillon’s first Nationwide race, but it is his first in the #21. He’s brought Bass Pro Shops with him to sponsor the #21 this week too. Should be interesting to see how he does.
As you can see, 43 cars are entered, which means that all will make it. Scott Lagasse was again pulled from the #43 this week in favor of Brad Baker. Baker Curb has entered a #37 car, so maybe Lagasse will drive that. No word yet. Justin Lofton will be driving the #27 Ford this week. Peyton Sellers will make his debut for 2010 in the #25 car. Sellers drove the #77 Ford for SFP last year. And of course, Danica Patrick returns to the #7 Chevy.
Go Green Racing, in a partnership with Team Kapusta Racing and driver Charles Lewandoski, announced this week that Lewandoski will pilot the #39 NortheastMarineElectronics.com Ford this weekend.
Kelley Earnhardt announced this week that Delta Apparel is going to promote Realtree Outfitters licensed brand and will get primary placement on the #88 JR Motorsports Chevy for five NASCAR Nationwide Series events this year. So far Dale Earnhardt Jr. will behind the wheel of the #88 Realtree Outfitters Chevy in Aug at Bristol while Elliott Sadler, who just signed a 10-race deal with JR Motorsports to drive the #88, will be in the car for two other events including this week at New Hampshire and at Dover in Sept.
In other news, Snap-on will be the primary sponsor of the #62 Rusty Wallace Racing Toyota for the NASCAR Nationwide race on August 20 at Bristol Motor Speedway in Bristol with Brendan Gaughan behind the wheel.
And Danny Efland announced that he would be running the Daytona Nationwide race in July with his first national sponsor, Proactiv, on the hood of his Chevy.
Finally, there is a bit of a rumor going around that Kevin Conway will be attempting a Nationwide Race later in the year. I, for one, would love to see this. As my avatar suggests, I am a Travis Kvapil fan, thus I am also a Front Row Motorsports fan. I am not to happy that Kevin Conway has taken the #34 Ford from Travis so that he can be in the top 35 in points. So anything that can help Conway drive better is gravy for me.
So, If you want to see some great racing, and a pretty lady who can’t really drive stock cars (“yet” - editor), tune in 3:00pm Eastern on ESPN for the New England 200 from Loudon, New Hampshire. Enjoy!
