VIDEO: USA Vs. Ghana Highlights From 2006. Never Forget.

On Saturday afternoon at 2:00 Eastern, the U.S. World Cup team will face Ghana in a knockout match. Over the last few days, we’ve been reminded to the point of exhaustion that the Ghanaians were responsible for showing us the door in the 2006 World Cup. If you’re a casual fan, though -- as many who watch today’s match will be -- you might not remember it. Here’s a brief refresher course:

The only thing we know for certain is that tomorrow’s newspapers will feature puns that play on the name, “Ghana.” The question remains: will said puns be complimentary or pejorative?
