Merck worked out of the fifth inning jam for TCU, moving the game to the top of the sixth. Temperatures on the field exceed 100 degrees, and at some point the heat will have to start getting to UCLA starter Trevor Bauer. His curveball is working well and so far he doesn’t look tired at all.
