With a runner on first and one out, Bruins coach John Savage brings in freshman reliever Scott Griggs to face Adrian Morales. Griggs has pitched just seven innings this year. This certainly looks like UCLA is conceeding the game, using the opportunity to bring in a young arm to get some high-level exposure.
