The College World Series resumes this Monday evening at 7:30 p.m. EDT with UCLA against South Carolina, kicking off the three-game championship bracket.

Ace right-hander Gerrit Cole (11-3, 3.26 ERA, 151/51 K/BB in 116 innings) will take the mound for the Bruins. The Gamecocks have yet to announce their starting pitcher.
UCLA seems to have the advantage, due to their strong starting pitching cadre and less-stressed bullpen. But anything can happen in a short series, and what’s true on paper isn’t always true in an actual game.
