Michael Roth looked much sharper in the fourth inning, showing improved command of his cutter and changeup. He appears to be settling in. Rob Rasmussen also looked fairly sharp in the bottom of the inning, dodging a bloop single from Bobby Haney. After a rocky start, this game is developing into a genuine pitcher’s duel. Both pitchers have rather high pitch counts, however, and the bullpens should come into play early.
