Bears Are Also Interested In Chargers WR Vincent Jackson But Trade ‘Still A Long Shot’

The Bears are the latest team to be identified as potential suitors for WR Vincent Jackson, according to ESPN’s Adam Schefter.

The Bears make a lot of sense because they’ve invested so much in Jay Cutler that they need to do anything they can to make him successful.

Schefter describes the chances of any trade with Jackson as a “long shot” even though he has reportedly stated his willingness to sit out the entire season absent a new contract.

Jackson, who hasn’t signed his tender and reported to the Chargers this offseason, reportedly wants a contract that is a slight bump to the four-year, $47.5 million extension signed by Brandon Marshall this offseason.
