Unfortunately, the Sports Animated GIF Hall of Fame does not exist in any official capacity, but if it did, the GIF of Thursday night’s one-way conversation between Chris Rock and Kobe Bryant would be ushered in with haste.

Which brings me to this: the search for the greatest sports animated GIF of all time. It can depict something that happened last night or fifty years ago. It can be awesome, hilarious, poignant, or all of the above. Surely it’s out there somewhere. If you’d like to make a submission, leave it in the comments.
