OK, its just getting down to the Green/White/Checker moment and my lap top conks out, and I can’t find the power cord anywhere, so I can’t keep up with my open race thread.
What an ending to the Truck Race and I’m not talking about what happened on the track either
“No matter,” I think, “I’ll just run down to the office (if you can call it that) after the race and make a few comments on the old clunker PC before bed.”
Well seconds after my lap top dies the skies above our house open up in a torrential downpour along with booming crashes of thunder and flashes of blinding lightening and then almost coinciding with the arrival of the storm the power goes out.
I missed everything.
The power came back on for a little while about 1/2 later and then went out again, so I went to bed.
I didn’t find out who won until this morning.
