Oguchi Onyewu On For Clarence Goodson In 61st Minute

Oguchi Onyewu will get a half-an-hour of time, coming on in the 61st minute for Clarence Goodson, who replaced him in the starting lineup for the United States’ friendly versus Australia.

Fifteen minutes into the second half, the United States maintains a 2-1 lead, nearly going up 3-1 when Clint Dempsey scored, only to see the linesman with flag elevated, indicating offside.

Marcus Hahnemann, a halftime substitute, has made saves on Mark Breciano and Scott Chipperfield, while striker Joshua Kennedy has been close to getting to the end of balls played from the right of defense to Hahnemann’s left post.

In the 55th minute, Jonathan Bornstein came on for captain Carlos Bocanegra.
