Got A Murder Rap? You Can Go To The World Cup Anyway, Dude.

South African police arrested ten Argentine “hooligans” who were planning to commit acts of violence at the World Cup,according to Forbes.com. The men were all “known hooligans,” a status few of us have ever had at any point in our lives, and especially rare after the age of eleven or so.

↵The term hooligan is pretty serious in this case, however.

↵Police say intelligence indicated the men “would commit acts of public disorder, engage in acts of violence and provoke conflict” at the World Cup. One of the 10 men is out on bail for murder.↵Argentina’s evidently not so diligent on keeping those accused of murder in the country, so in addition to beef lovers, wine aficionados, outdoorsmen, and those who appreciate the beauty of the pampas, Argentina now has a new tourlsm pitch: “If you’re thinking about killing someone, you might be arrested, but once we’ve got bail you’re good to go.” It doesn’t fit on a poster easily, but it absolutely kills in focus groups. <---HAHAHAH GET IT?
