It’s Official: NBA Approves Sale Of Wizards To Ted Leonsis

The new era of the Washington Wizards can now officially begin. According to Howard Beck of the New York Times, the NBA has approved the sale of the Wizards to Ted Leonsis.

NBA board of governors unanimously approves sale of the Wizards to Ted Leonsis, the league announced.

Leonsis’ group will now have full control of the Wizards, the Mystics and Washington Sports and Entertainment, which owns the Verizon Center.
