The Google home page is nothing special today. There’s no wacky Pac-Man game to be played or anything like that. But if you search for “World Cup,” you’ll get the following at the bottom of your search results when you go to your next page.↵
Yes, Even Google Is Ready for the World Cup

↵↵Speaking of Google and the World Cup, be sure to practice safe searching when you’re hunting for all things Cup-related. Cyberdefender.com sent out a news release on Monday that some of the highest links in Google search when searching for “ESPN World Cup Schedule” are actually malware and will infect your computer. (Many of these links have already been noted, so be sure to watch out for that “This site may harm your computer” tag on any link.) Not unlike when the Erin Andrews stalker video made the rounds on the web, malware perpetrators will use trending searches to infect people searching trending topics -- like the World Cup schedule -- who might be in a hurry and won’t take the time to look at what they’re clicking.↵
