Dana White Hints At Future For Winner Of Chuck Liddell v. Rich Franklin

From an interview with the UFC president on 98 Rock in Baltimore:

↵↵You know what I was thinking about doing, I was thinking about it could possibly him [Chuck Liddell] and Forrest too. So the winner of Rich Franklin vs. Chuck Liddell could fight Forrest Griffin.

↵↵Franklin or Liddell against Griffin would probably be a fairly solid selling main event as it’d be some of the biggest and most popular personalities in the history of the sport clashing. It’d be likely that the man who comes out at the winner in the end would get a title shot at 205 pounds. While I have trouble seeing any of these three men being able to do much against Mauricio “Shogun” Rua it’d certainly be a big fight when it happened.
