Martin Biron Signs With New York Rangers for Two Years, 1.8 Million

TSN’s Bob McKenzie reports that Martin Biron has signed with the New York Rangers for two years, making slightly less than 900k per season.

It’s interesting to see that Biron is one of the first players to sign on Free Agency Day 2010, since he was left reeling without a contract for over three weeks last summer after an apparent lack of attractive offers.

With the signing, Biron joins his third Atlantic Division team in three years, after spending 2007-2009 with the Flyers and 2009-2010 with the Islanders.
