Round Three Suspended After Weather Delays; Paula Creamer Leads With 23 Holes To Play

The LPGA continued to work back from hefty weather delays on Saturday, and at the stoppage of play Saturday night, Paula Creamer looks to be on track for her first LPGA major title.

Creamer played 16 holes of Round 2 action on Saturday before starting her third round, and after 13 holes, Creamer is one stroke under par--good enough for a three stroke lead over Wendy Ward, who is only one hole away from finishing her third round.

The rainy conditions at Oakmont Country Club have wrought havoc on the scores in the tourney; through the first two rounds, there had only been six rounds played under par total, including just two one-under second rounds: Creamer and Stacy Lewis, who’s currently seven strokes back.
