Clayton Kershaw, Joe Torre Suspended For Tuesday’s Hit Batsman
Tuesday night’s affair between the Dodgers and Giants was a colorful one, even before the conclusion. After Andres Torres was hit by a pitch to lead off the game, Matt Kemp was hit by a pitch in the fifth, and Aaron Rowand was then hit by a pitch in the seventh. This third hit batsman was enough to get Clayton Kershaw and Joe Torre ejected, and it was also enough to get them suspended.
Dodgers bench coach Bob Schaefer was ejected from the game the previous inning, and all of them were ejected and suspended for their alleged roles in the beanballs.

Kershaw gave four runs -- two earned -- on four hits before being ejected with no outs in the seventh. The left-hander also struck out six and walked two.
LA plated a pair of runs in the third to go ahead 5-1. Paul singled and Ethier walked before Lincecum recorded two straight outs. DeWitt hit an RBI single in front of Blake’s run-scoring double.
