Former Florida lineman, and current Steeler, Maurkice Pouncey released a statement via his lawyer on Wednesday denying the claim that he took money from an agent while in school.

“I did not accept $100,000, it is an absolutely ridiculous claim. I have completely cooperated with the investigation and answered any and all questions put to me.”
A report on Tuesday claimed that Pouncey took $100,000 from an agent between the SEC Championship game and the Sugar Bowl last year.
