Matt Barnes To Sign Two-Year Deal With Lakers

As believed, Matt Barnes will sign with the Los Angeles Lakers. What was expected to be a one-year agreement, however, now appears to be a two-year deal. From Adrian Wojnarowski:

Free-agent forward Matt Barnes has reached agreement on a two-year, $3.6 million contract with the Los Angeles Lakers, league sources told Yahoo! Sports.

It’s worth nothing that this snaps Barnes’ streak of signing one-year deals. In 2009-10, Barnes averaged 25.9 minutes on the court, managing 8.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game.
