After 11 straight holds, Tomas Berdych completely folded in the twelfth game of the second set. Serving at 5-6 to force a tiebreaker, Berdych couldn’t win a set, with wild unforced errors off his normally dominant forehand proving to be his undoing.
Rafael Nadal is now only one set away from a second Wimbledon title.
No one has ever beaten him from two sets down at a grand slam.
