In their third deal in as many days, the Washington Capitals negotiated a two-year, $4.4 million contract for Eric Fehr following agreements with defenseman Jeff Schultz and the gritty Boyd Gordon. A former first-round draft pick in 2003, Fehr had little ice time to work with on average, but still managed career highs with 21 goals and 18 assists in addition to three tallies in Washington’s brief postseason.
