Did LeBron James Really Say THAT During ‘The Decision’? Running Down The Best Quotes

There’s a lot to absorb in the aftermath of LeBron James’ “decision” to bolt from Cleveland and join Dwyane Wade and Chris Bosh with the Miami Heat. At this point, it’s clichéd to note the surrealness of it all; ESPN’s assorted talking heads congratulating LeBron on “making his decision” while Jim Gray wasted time with a sequence of increasingly banal and torturous questions, drawing out the manufactured melodrama to heights of seemingly unthinkable absurdity. Thankfully, Yahoo!‘s Ball Don’t Lie has compiled the 11 strangest things James uttered during “The Decision”. Consider this a public service to remind us all that this actually happened, and James said things like:

↵↵Put the shoe on the other foot. If the Cavs would have got rid of me at one point, would my family burn down the organization? Of course not.

↵↵Of course not. Read the whole thing. It’s well worth it. And note the VitaminWater to book ratio in the mocked-up bookshelf.
