Ravens’ Domonique Foxworth Tweets About Silver Lining Of Knee Injury
Foxworth, stuck in the Ravens’ training room without a book, took to Twitter to muse on his injury’s “silver lining.”
#SilverLining I can dedicate myself to the nflpa and make sure there’s no lockout in 2011There’s plenty more sincere reflection where that came from.
#SilverLining when I’m 40 I’ll have a way to get out of yard work “but baby you know my knee ain’t right”@UJ410 I do want my MBA at some point.@UJ410 my wife is a few months away from her third degree I can’t have the kids thinking daddy could only get 1
#SilverLining be able to be super-dad when daughter is born in December.Foxworth may feel like he’s disappointed his team, but injuries happen. Maybe if he can serve as an example or a mentor to younger players on how to handle one, he’ll do more good than he knows. And, hey, if nothing else, he can be a pretty compelling font of advice on Twitter.
