2010 PGA Championship: Nick Watney Remains In Charge At PGA Championship

Nick Watney has regained a four shot lead with two holes to play in the third round of the PGA Championship. He is on 14-under and 7-under on the day.

Among Watney’s competition are Dustin Johnson and Rory McIlroy. Both are done for the day, shot 67 and are on 10-under par.

The players within six shots of the lead all had rounds of 3-under or better, but Watney has lead the charge. With the exception of Liang’s amazing 64, Watney is low player among the leaders.

Stuart Cink also made a great nice move today. After struggling to make the cut, the 2009 Open Champion shot 66 to be on 5-under par total. He keeps his chances to make the Ryder Cup team alive.

Meanwhile, Tiger Woods finished his third round at even on the day. But he has been lapped. He is now 11 back of Watney’s lead.
