2010 PGA Championship: Martin Kaymer In Control, But Steve Elkington & Bubba Watson Are Close

Martin Kaymer is playing some very solid golf in the final round of the PGA Championship. He hasn’t had a bogey in almost fifty holes. Even still, his challengers are not fading.

Bubba Watson – who looked great after the first two rounds – shed some momentum yesterday. On Sunday, he has reappeared. He is now 11-under and one out of Kaymer’s lead.

47 year old Steve Elkington, the ’95 PGA Champion, is also remaining strong late in his round. The Aussie champ at Riviera over Colin Montgomerie is playing in his first major since 2008, but is taking advantage. He is in good position at 10-under.

Bubba and Elkington had a heated incident in 2008 at the Zurich Classic involving a slew of f-bombs.
