The first AP Top 25 of 2010 has been released. Defending national champion Alabama takes the top spot, followed by Ohio State, Boise State, Florida, and Texas.
It’s the highest-ever ranking for Boise State, which also received a first-place vote. It’s a great position for Boise State to be in: After their season-opening game against Virginia Tech, the Broncos’ schedule isn’t particularly challenging, and they could easily be playing for a BCS title should Alabama or Ohio State slip even once.
