The Indianapolis Colts first team offense started off quickly on Thursday night against the Green Bay Packers. Only 22 seconds into the game, QB Peyton Manning had a touchdown pass. On the Colts first play from scrimmage, RB Joseph Addai took a handoff from Manning for 49 yards. The next play, Manning his WR Pierre Garcon for an 18 yard touchdown pass.
Packers QB Aaron Rodgers brought the Packers right back on a six-play drive that included a 48-yard pass interference penalty and a six-yard touchdown pass from Rodgers.

The Colts lead the all-time preseason series with the Packers, 5-3, including a 20-6 home victory in the last such meeting, prior to the 1996 season.
