Loan: Marco Borriello Pushed to Roma, Not Juventus

Rumor since the arrival of Zlatan Ibrahimovic in Milan had Rossoneri striker Marco Borriello moving to Juventus, but as the transfer deadline approached, it was announced that he would instead be loaned to Roma.

↵The sticking point in the move to Juventus, according to Football Italia, was Borriello’s unwillingness to accept a loan deal to Turin. Curiously, the 28-year-old has accepted a loan out to Roma.

↵Borriello scored 14 league goals in 26 appearances for Milan last year.
