Since LeBron James’ roundly panned “Decision” special on ESPN, it’s been a good time to be a sports-savvy parodist. John Mayer spoofed it first with what amounted to an ad for an upcoming tour, and then Steve Carell and Paul Rudd ramped up the awkwardness for a parody that aired on the ESPYs. ESPN’s SportsNation got in on the act, too, televising Bill Simmons’ decision to re-up his Clippers season tickets.
