So an Indian guy and a Pakistani guy walk onto a tennis court ... is no joke. It’s the story of Aisam Ul-Haq-Qureshi and Rohan Bopanna, the doubles tennis team using the stage of the U.S. Open to call for an end to hostilities between their homelands. And they’re really, really good at it.
The duo advanced to the finals, where they lost a close match to the Bryan twins, and afterwards, Qureshi addressed the crowd:

[In] a moving address from center court, Mr. Qureshi pleaded for acceptance of his countrymen to loud applause. “Every time I come here I feel there’s a very wrong perception of Pakistan as a terrorist country,” he spoke into the microphone. “We want peace in this world as much as you guys want.”
