Week 1 Fantasy Football Scouting Reports: Tampa Bay Buccaneers

From Bucs Nation:

Pickings normally are slim for decent Buccaneer fantasy options, but this week could (and I emphasize could) be a deviation from that norm. Cadillac Williams, who doesn’t have a regular threat to his carries with Derrick Ward gone, could be a nice RB2/flex play. Kellen Winslow was Josh Freeman’s go-to guy in 2009 and will probably start off 2010 the same way. With Freeman nursing a sore thumb and 2 of the top 3 Buccaneer WRs being rookies, Winslow should receive a large number of targets. If you don’t have split end Mike Williams on your waiver wire watch list, add him. The kid is big target who can go up and get the ball.....and fast enough to hook up for a splash play deep downfield. Not necessarily saying to start him Sunday, but he’s quickly skyrocketed to the team’s #1 WR spot and, sadly, the Buccaneers will probably be throwing from behind alot this year.
