All Dakota Football Teams Unstoppable. It’s Science!

The Dakotas’ football programs are not thought of very well by the rest of America, when they’re thought of at all, which is a shame since they have cool names like “Jackrabbits” and “Bison.” When they venture into I-A territory, it’s generally to suffer a dreadful loss and recoup a large paycheck.
Schools from both states are on a romp of terror in the first two weeks of the 2010 college football season, however, an irrevocable fact that bodes ill for later, loftier opponents. With a sample size of two (2) games, we can confidently state that Dakota programs are undefeated when facing BCS conference teams, and on pace to remain so. Observe:Week 1:
• South Dakota lost to UCF, 38-7
• North Dakota lost to Idaho, 45-0
• North Dakota State beat Kansas, 6-3
Week 2:
• South Dakota beat Minnesota, 41-38
What this means for the future: Northern Illinois plays North Dakota tonight at 7:00 p.m. They are presumably safe. Nebraska, however, had best watch its ass against the SDSU Jackrabbits on Sept. 25.
