Packers Vs. Eagles: David Akers Hits Field Goal After Vick Declines Scramble Touchdown, Packers Ahead 27-20
Michael Vick again moved the ball for Philly after rookie Nate Allen set the Eagles up with good field position by picking off an Aaron Rodgers pass. Allen was the Eagles’ selection with a pick they acquired by trading Donovan McNabb.
Vick threw for 41 more yards on the drive and turned a sure sack into a no-gainer out of bounds. In the red zone, he had what appeared to be a sure running touchdown but opted to fire a tipped pass towards DeSean Jackson at the back of the end zone. David Akers connected to draw the Eagles within a touchdown.

Michael Vick threw a 17-yard touchdown to Jeremy Maclin, Maclin’s first receiving touchdown since week nine of last year.
The score ended a 79-yard drive. Vick now has 124 yards passing and 77 rushing, despite Kevin Kolb playing most of the game. Your correspondent is surrounded by Falcons fans who are starting to sort of root for Vick, but it’s bittersweet.

Vick broke out a vintage scramble to preserve the drive and enter the red zone, reversing field twice in the backfield and lowering his shoulder while being driven out of bounds. It made this room full of Falcons fans a little nauseous, so it must’ve been pretty good.

Packers fullback John Kuhn added to Green Bay’s advantage, ending a 62-yard drive that began after Eagles back Eldra Buckley fumbled after catching a pass from Michael Vick.
Kuhn is in his fifth season, and this was his third career rushing touchdown.

Eagles QB Kevin Kolb suffered an injury against the Packers on a hard hit by Clay Matthews. Mark Maske of the Washington Post reports that on the sideline it appeared Eagles trainers were giving Kolb concussion-related tests on the sideline.
Kolb has returned to the game.
