49ers Vs. Seahawks, Final: Pete Carroll Era Starts Off Fast, Seattle Dominates 31-6

It was all Seahawks all the time in their 2010 season opener against the 49ers.

Matt Hasselbeck accounted for three touchdowns -- two in the air and one on the ground. Former USC receiver Mike Williams led the Seahawks receivers with four receptions for 64 yards.

This wasn’t the way things were supposed to work out. It was the 49ers who were supposed to win the division while the Seahawks struggle at the start of the Pete Carroll era.

Instead it’s the Seahawks who are dominating the 49ers with a 28-6 lead over the 49ers.

Seahawks quarterback Matt Hasselbeck capped a seven-play, 64-yard drive with a 1-yard scoring run, giving Seattle a 7-6 lead over San Fran.

The drive’s biggest play was a short pass to Mike Williams for 35 yards that gave Seattle the ball at the goal line.
