Rafael Nadal just won the first set, 6-4, in about 50 minutes. I just heard Dick Enberg say that Rafa is 106-1 in majors after winning the first set. Novak Djokovic is in trouble. He looked cranky in the early going, losing his serve twice and smashing his racquet on the ground. Maybe his ankle is bothering him. Maybe he just knows he’s up against it. Nadal was steady, if unspectacular. But that’s been enough so far.
