Two things to note. When the 2010 U.S. Open men’s final resumes, coverage will continue on ESPN2. Also, play will start up again no earlier than 7:30 p.m. Here’s the official USTA statement:
2010 U.S. Open Men’s Final: After Delay, Coverage To Continue On ESPN2
Play has been suspended at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center due to rain storms with lightning and thunder. The rain is expected to last 60 to 75 minutes, after which we will dry the courts and resume play.
