UFC Fight Night 22 Results: Pearson Choked Out By Miller
The televised card started off with a bang as the two former TUF alums decided to keep it standing for most of the first round. While Pearson tried to establish his striking, Miller was having none of it. Miller was able to use his reach to his advantage as he continued to counter and out strike the British brawler. Between the clinch and his jab, Miller owned the standup. He was eventually able to put a solid combination together in the second round and dropped Pearson with a left hook, dazing him. Once Pearson was rocked, Miller had no trouble pouncing on his back and sinking in the rear naked choke. An upset for sure, but not a massive one. The most surprising take away from this fight was Miller’s much improved striking.
