Chael Sonnen’s Suspension Reduced To Six Months By CSAC

Some pretty unfortunate news coming out about former and assumed still No. 1 Middleweight contender, Chael Sonnen, regarding his standard drug screening following UFC 117. According to a report which first surfaced on Sherdog, California State Athletic Commission Executive Officer George Dodd first confirmed that all fighters competing at UFC 117 had been cleared of testing positive for drugs-of-abuse, but that the commission was still waiting on results testing for performance enhancing drugs. Using some deduction, we can only assume Sonnen’s failed test involved use of one or more performance enhancing substance.
