NFL Week 2, Patriots Vs. Jets: Sanchez-To-Edwards Ties Game At 7-7

Trailing 7-0 in the second quarter, Mark Sanchez and the New York Jets have come to life offensively. Sanchez hit Braylon Edwards in the back left corner for a ten-yard touchdown, tying the game up at 7 apiece.

The Jets ran just three plays in the first quarter as New England dominated time of possession. Sanchez had an interception overruled by a Rex Ryan challenge, but the offense still managed just five yards in the opening quarter. They then marched 77 yards on 12 plays to tie up a very competitive ball game. The score comes with roughly six minutes remaining in the second quarter.

Edwards, however, gave 15 free yards to the Patriots via a taunting penalty during his touchdown celebration.
