The Jets ran just three plays in the first quarter as New England dominated time of possession. Sanchez had an interception overruled by a Rex Ryan challenge, but the offense still managed just five yards in the opening quarter. They then marched 77 yards on 12 plays to tie up a very competitive ball game. The score comes with roughly six minutes remaining in the second quarter.
Edwards, however, gave 15 free yards to the Patriots via a taunting penalty during his touchdown celebration.
