In a tie ball game late in the second quarter, Randy Moss and his ridiculous football talent have re-claimed the lead for the New England Patriots.
NFL Week 2, Patriots Vs. Jets: Moss’ One-Handed TD Gives Pats 14-10 Lead
Defended by Darrelle Revis, Moss beat the league’s best cornerback off the line, gained inside leverage, and Tom Brady threw the ball over the top. The throw was just a hair long, but Moss reached up his right hand and snagged the pass for a 34-yard score. The ball touched nothing else but Moss’ right hand. The spectacular catch gave the Patriots a 14-7 lead.
Mark Sanchez, however, was able to drive the Jets 49 yards in under a minute, allowing Nick Folk to kick a 49-yard field goal to close the first half. The Patriots lead the Jets at halftime, 14-10.
